Carlo Aquino has sparked fans frenzy as he showed up during the launching of Beau Ang’s book “Para Kay Ex”, an event graced by Angelica Panganiban last Saturday.
Panganiban, who wrote the foreword of the book, was answering the press when Aquino suddenly appeared, surprising Panganiban with a bouquet of roses.
“‘Yung title kasi [nung book] ay “Para Kay Ex”, parang nararapat lang na may isang ex man lang [ni Angelica ang pumunta],” Aquino said.
“Hayop ka,” she jokingly replied to Aquino who said that he can be the representative of all the men who broke her heart.
Fans of the ex-couple are in hopes that the two will get back together, especially now they’re are both single.
Panganiban, dubbed as the country’s “Hugot Queen” said that she is overwhelmed by the support that the book has been receiving.
“Natutuwa naman ako na ganito pala iyong suporta, na nagma-matter pala sa kanila iyong opinyon ko. Nakakataba ng puso.
“Hindi naman ito pagpapansin. Gusto kong maraming tao ang ma-touch na hindi porke’t nag-a-artista kami, nasa likod kami ng camera ay iba na iyong takbo ng buhay namin.
“Pare-parehas tayong pinagdadaanan – puwedeng masaktan, maloko at madapa. Pero pare-parehas din tayo na dapat ingatan ang sarili, at kailangan tumayo tayo at lumaban,” she said.
“Para Kay Ex” is currently available in bookstores all over the Philippines.
