Kapamilya TV host Alex Gonzaga could not contain her “kilig” when her boyfriend, Mikee Morada, surprised her on “ASAP” on Sunday, January 21, 2018, during her birthday celebration.
After the actress thanked everyone for sending her birthday wishes, Morada appeared from the backstage of the studio and handed Gonzaga a bouquet of flowers.
Surprised with Morada’s sudden appearance, Gonzaga was all smile upon receiving the flowers.
Morada, when asked to give a birthday wish, gave a heartfelt message to his girlfriend.
“Happy birthday. Sana nag-enjoy ka this week. I’m very proud of you. For the past two years, I’ve seen you grow as a person. Very proud and happy ako para sayo. I am always here to protect you and to support you. Sana tuloy-tuloy pa rin,” he said.

Gonzaga, known for her humorous personality, jokingly asked for a “kiss” from her boyfriend who just smiled at the actress.
The actress instead hugged Morada and gave him a peck on his cheek. Later that day, Gonzaga posted a photo with her boyfriend on Instagram captioned, “This is my thank you for this guy’s surprise appearance! Hihi.”
