Filipino Human Resources Practitioners holds 2025 General Assembly in Dubai

The Filipino Human Resources Practitioners (FilHR) held its 2025 General Assembly on Nov. 15 at the Novotel World Trade Centre Dubai, bringing together affiliates and HR professionals from across the United Arab Emirates.

During the assembly, FilHR formally introduced its 2025–2027 Board of Directors, led by Chair Felicito Hernandez, with members Sheryll Bacay, Jessie Quintilla, Robie Gonzales, and Sheila Enriquez.

FilHR also unveiled its newly appointed Executive Committee, headed by President Armilee Sastrillo, Vice President for Strategy Ferdinand Tan, and Vice President for Operations Eunice Biteng. The leadership team includes Mary Ann Andaya (Career Development), Fritzi Mary Ortega (Membership & Engagement), Neil Fritz Gonzaga (Marketing & Communications), Ann Camille Pico (Internal & External Affairs), and Ma. Louwenn Tantiangco (Finance & Administration).

A key highlight of the assembly was the launch of the 2025–2027 calendar of activities. Programs aim to strengthen capability-building, collaboration, and community engagement. The schedule features the Tara, HR Tayo! series on talent acquisition, compensation, performance, and people development, as well as major events such as the HR Clinic: Future-Ready HR in October 2026. Other activities include HR for a Cause (CSR) in February 2026, the FilHR Sports Fest in January 2027, and the FilHR Kwentuhan Series throughout 2027, covering labor laws, workplace trends, and leadership.

The assembly also welcomed new affiliates, reflecting FilHR’s growing network and its commitment to building a unified, empowered community of HR practitioners across the UAE. The event marked a significant milestone as the organization set its strategic direction for the 2025–2027 term.
