A high school teacher in Laguna went viral after giving her students their own portraits as Christmas gifts to surprise them after the holiday season.
Roselyn Barcoma of Holy Redeemer School of Cabuyao in Banlic, Cabuyao, Laguna personally drew portraits of all of her 27 Grade 9 students and gave it to them as Christmas gifts.
According to Barcoma, it took her more than a month to draw all the portraits. She started drawing the portraits on December 1, 2018 and finished them on January 6, 2019.
Barcoma said that this is her way to encourage her students to always do their best.
“Not an easy task, but I’m glad I made it,” the teacher said.
Meanwhile, the students were overwhelmed upon seeing the effort that their teacher exerted to surprise them.
