“Lord of Scents” Joel Cruz revealed that he is set to have his eighth child via surrogacy once again.
The well-known fragrance tycoon announced during the birthday of his twins Prince Harry and Prince Harvey that he will be adding another child to his growing family next month, reported ABS-CBN.
“They’re going to be eight,” Cruz said in a video taken by ABS-CBN reporter Mario Dumaual.
Cruz’s announcement came two months after he introduced his seventh child, who he named Zeid. He said that the seventh child supposedly has a twin, however, the in vitro fertilization procedure did not succeed.
“Supposed to be kambal din sana gusto ko kaso hindi kumapit yung isa at isa lang yung nabuo,” Cruz said.
Earlier, Cruz revealed that he spent Php7-million in the surrogacy procedure done to conceive his eldest twins in 2013.
Aside from Zeid, Cruz currently has three sets of twins. The eldest ones are Prince Sean and Princess Synne who were born in September 2012. The aforementioned birthday celebrators came after Prince Harry and Prince Harvey three years later in October 2015, and the third pair, Charles and Charlotte, were born in May 2017.
All twins share the same mother, a Russian woman named Lilia.
