DUBAI: The biggest and much awaited celebration of the yearend event –The Bayanihan Festival 2017 Celebration – is scheduled this coming Dec. 15, 2017 happening in Zabeel Hall 3, Dubai World Trade Center, Dubai, UAE.
“The whole day event will elicit a huge Filipino crowd starting at 7am with fun-filled activities for the whole family,” said Engr. Maria Fe “Tata’ Dayot, FilClub 2017 chairman.
The event will showcase Filipino talent and culture. Lined up are the Parade of Philippine Fiestas, Battle of the Bands, OFW Bayani Award, Cheer Dance Competition, Fruit Carving Competition, On-the-spot Painting Contest, Hair and Make-up Competition.
Also, in the spirit of Christmas, there will be a Christmas Choral Singing Contest. Moreover, all member-organizations will join the Christmas Lantern-making Contest, along with the mini-bazaar and a medical outreach.
The pride of Filipino, Jeepney Float display will be there as well as expected live performance of a popular artist and special appearance of our dignitaries from the Philippines.
“We would like to invite you to have an opportunity to gather as united Filipinos in the United Arab Emirates who will take a breather from their normal Friday schedule to attend Bayanihan Festival 2017, a gathering loaded with entertainment, fun, prizes and surprises,” Dayot said. “Tara na at magbayanihan sa Gitnang Silangan!”
