Sheikh Mohammed among top 5 Arab men ‘having a positive impact on the world’

The beloved Ruler of Dubai is the leader behind the development and growth of the emirate, transforming it from being a small city into one of the world’s leading tourism and business hubs.

Aside from this, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE,  has been recognized for his charitable works and philanthropic activities, proving that His Highness is truly a leader who leads by example.

HH Sheikh Mohammed was recently recognized as one of the five Arab men having a positive impact on the world by Huffington Post.

Dubai Media Office on Wednesday shared the article, which highlights the Dubai ruler’s numerous philanthropic initiatives like the “Dubai Cares” campaign.

“The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiative has helped 130 million people in 116 countries. HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid’s campaign “Dubai Cares” is one of the largest humanitarian programs in the world, with the aim of fighting poverty, disseminating knowledge, and educating the poor,” the article read.

Last month,  Dubai Cares launched two education programs in Rwanda, which are set to benefit more than 18,600 young people and children.

An emergency support program was also rolled out on Tuesday, September 12, providing the safe return of about 4,800 children to school in Mosul, Iraq, after the city was liberated from the hands of a militant group after three years.

The article continued, “Sheikh Mohammed had the vision to promote development and humanitarian work in third-world countries. In this regard, he has several organizations that work together to develop healthcare projects and support relief efforts around the world.”

 

Other Arab men on the list are Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal (Saudi Arabia), Sulaiman Abdul Aziz Al Rajhi (Saudi Arabia), Fouad Makhzoumi (Lebanon), and Carlos Slim Helú (Lebanon).
