Actor-singer Marlo Mortel fights on to save his mother from breast cancer, which has grown from stage three to stage four.
In his Instagram post on Monday, Marlo says his mother’s illness is hard for him and his family.
He reveals that his mother had to go through two surgeries – a lung operation in December 2016 and recently, an open heart surgery to remove a cyst that would’ve caused her heart to fail.
Both surgeries were successful. However, he now asks for support as tests reveal that his mother’s breast cancer is now in its most advanced stage.
Mortel remains positive and encourages her mother to fight on.
“You are definitely a fighter mommy, and Me & Daddy will fight with you all the way. I’ll keep working extra hard for us and we will get through this ok? Nothing is impossible with Jesus. I love you so much!”
His mother was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer in 2014.
