Detained former Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. visited his ailing father Ramon Revilla Sr. on June 19.
Photos of his visit at the St. Luke’s Medical Center in Bonifacio Global City were uploaded on Bong’s Facebook account.
His photos’ caption read, “Lord, give Daddy strength not only of the body but also of the mind to endure what is to come. Make his doctors confident and steady.”
He also asked for prayers for a successful surgery and fast recovery.
The anti-graft court Sandiganbayan allowed the Bong to visit his dad, who has a heart ailment, for two days.
The former senator has been detained at the Philippine National Police Custodial Center since June 2014 for plunder charges in connection with the pork barrel scam.
