Actor Rayver Cruz has not been visible on television in the last three months including All-Out-Sundays.
Rayver said that he did not take a vacation or took some rest but because he fought COVID-19.
In a GMA News report, the actor recalled and shared his story when he contracted the coronavirus.

“Nagkasakit kasi ako. Alam mo naman yung virus na kung tawagin ay si COVID-19, nakuha ko rin. Nung time na iyon, nakakalungkot, na-down din ako,” Rayver said.
He initially dismissed the symptoms of the virus.
“At first kasi, akala ko napagod lang ako that day sa mga ginawa siguro, sa pag-workout, sa trabaho. Akala ko nagsunud-sunod lang, napagod lang ako,” Rayver said.
“Pero ayun, yung likod ko yung unang sumakit, yung lower back ko hanggang pataas. Then, sunud-sunod na yun, nararamdaman ko na yung mga symptoms,” he added.

The actor feared for the worse when started feeling the symptoms of COVID-19.
Rayver said he rushed himself to the hospital.
“Nung in-explain sa akin ng doctor, medyo natakot din ako and mahirap kasi ako lang mag-isa. Tricky kasi ang COVID-19. Pag biglang nag-drop yung oxygen [level] mo or kung ano man mangyari, walang magsusugod sa akin agad-agad,” he said.
“Important din na lahat tayo, sana makapagpabakuna na para kahit papaano, may proteksiyon ka,” the actor reminded the public. (TDT)
