“I am now admitted in a hospital for Covid treatment. This is to say that COVID-19 is more transmissible now so we have to do extra precaution,” Roque said in a statement.

Roque however said that he will still announce the classification on the status of Metro Manila quarantine.
“I will announce the risk classification of the National Capital Region Plus Bubble which will be discussed in the IATF meeting today,” he said.
“I am asking for your sincerest prayers to all afflicted with Covid 19 in the country and around the world,” Roque added.

Roque announced last month that he tested positive for the virus and was quarantined in a facility in San Juan.
He said that he had recovered from the virus.
It’s unclear if Roque’s hospital admission was due to reinfection or still an effect of his previous COVID-19 diagnosis. (TDT)
