Comedian Allan K has opened up about his battle against the coronavirus disease or COVID-19.

Allan K shared that he was even rushed to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a Pasig hospital for three days.

The TV host opened up about the experience when they guest COVID-19 survivors in the ‘Bawal ang Judgmental’ segment of nootime show ‘Eat Bulaga’.

Allan said that he started feeling flu-like symptoms and his temperature did not get below 38 degrees even after medication.

He also lost his sense of taste and smell.

Allan said that this year has been challenging for him. He lost his brother and a sister and then he got infected by COVID-19.

“Namatay silang pareho na nasa pandemic tayo so sinunog sila na hindi ko sila nakita,” Allan said.

After being tested positive for the virus, he was concerned because of his age and he is also diabetic.

“Ayon kasi sa mga balita, pag ganun yung case mo, malamang sa mamaalam ka na. Parang binagsakan ako ng mundo, parang ano ba? Ano ba ‘to, hindi pa tapos yung taon no?,” Allan said.

In the emergency room, Allan said he was only waiting for people to tell him that he’s going to die.

He was confined for three days and three nights in the ICU, but luckily he was never intubated.

Co-host Vic Sotto knew about Allan’s situation.

“Ganoon ka-seryoso yung kaso ni Allan eh. Allan K, fighter ka,” Vic said.

Wally Bayola also opened up about his experience and said that he was careless at first due to what he saw on social media.

“Masyado ako naging paniwalain sa mga nakikita ko sa social media na ah wala namang COVID. Ano lang yan, hindi naman totoong may COVID… So parang nadala ako, hindi ako nag-ma-mask. Parang napagod na ako mag-mask, napagod na ako ng face shield,” he said.

During a taping on Saturday, Wally said that he lost his voice and his co-host Paolo Ballesteros told him to stay away because he might have COVID-19.

He took a test on Monday and tested positive for the virus.

“Wag niyo pong ilagay sa isip ninyo na walang pandemya. Meron po. Kasi ako po naranasan ko po. Naramdaman ko at nag-suffer po ako. Meron pong COVID virus. Wag tayong maging relaxed. Wag nating isipin na gawa gawa lang yan,” he said. (TDT)
