UAE students warned against performing 'skull breaker challenge'

The Ministry of Education warned students against performing a dangerous stunt known as ‘skull breaker challenge’ also known as ‘jump trip prank.’
The challenge, which is popular in social media app TikTok, involves three people who will jump in line, the middle person’s leg will be kicked while midair causing him to fall on the ground.

Public safety officers were reminded to closely monitor students to ensure they are not taking part of this dangerous act.
In an interview with Khaleej Times, Dr. Srinivas Janga, specialist neurosurgeon at Prime Hospital, said the prank might lead to life-threatening injuries.
She said the prank might lead to brain hemorrhage, paralysis of both lower limbs, and tail bone fracture which will result to neurological deficits such as bowel and bladder incontinence.
