Comedienne Ruffa Mae Quinto revealed she got scared upon learning that word about her supposed death has been spreading on social media.
Quinto spoke about the death hoax during her guesting on “Tonight with Boy Abunda.” The actress said she did not pay attention at first when the false news started circulating online.
“Natakot ako ‘tas nagdasal ako. Sabi ko, ‘Sana wala naman ganun mga chismis,” she said.
The TV host then asked Quinto to prove that she’s still alive.
“Alive and kickin’! Alive na alive,” she said while kicking.
Quinto was not the first celebrity who has been victimized. The son of Gary Valenciano, Gab, also spoke about online news that said he already died following his attempts to take his own life.
