A 34-year-old woman was caught stealing inside a grocery store in Novaliches, Quezon City.
Speaking to reporters Police Lt. Col. Rossel Cejas said that security officials brought the suspect to their station on Saturday, reported ABS-CBN News.
According to the security guard, the woman was putting some items on her shoulder bag. She was blocked by the security personnel on her way out of the supermarket.
Inside her bag, 48 pieces of chocolate bars were found amounting to Php7,000.00.
When she could not present any receipt, the woman was arrested and now faces a theft case.
