British rock singer Rod Stewart disclosed that he was diagnosed with prostate cancer two years ago and has now been given the all-clear, Agence France Presse reported.
Stewart, 74, revealed his health issue to the participants of a prostate charity fundraiser.
He received favorable news about his remission in July after undergoing treatment, Britain’s Daily Mirror reported.
Stewart, the father of eight, released his 30th studio album last year.
He also encouraged men to have their prostates checked regularly.
