TV host Mariel Rodriguez flies to the United States ahead of giving birth to her second child with actor Robin Padilla.
Padilla gave his wife and daughter Isabella a send-off before their trip to the U.S.
“Here we are embarking on another journey…. making sacrifices and doing what’s best for our children,” Rodriguez said. “Thank you for our trip babe @robinhoodpadilla we miss you already!!! When we see you next time we will be with Gabriela,” Mariel said on her Instagram post.
Padilla cannot join the trip because he was denied of a U.S visa due to his conviction in a 1994 illegal firearms possession case.
Like her first child, Mariel also gave birth in the U.S. in 2016. They explained that due to her delicate pregnancy, they opted to give birth in America.
Now for their second baby, Mariel said that she also wanted to give the same attention her first daughter had received.
Mariel’s kids will automatically become US citizens because citizenship is granted on the place a kid was born. The kids, however, can still acquire US citizenship even though they were in the Philippines, because Mariel is an American citizen.
