If there are moms who need diaper changing stations for their child, there should be for daddies too.
This was what Troy Montero suggested since he is a hands-on dad.
In his Instagram post on Thursday, he said he only sees diaper changing stations in restrooms for women.
“So when I’m out with my kids (especially with baby) I’m always on the lookout for family rooms in public places like malls, airports, etc. So many areas in the Philippines cater to families but only offer diaper changing stations in the Women’s restrooms. What does this say about our society, and to us dads?”
Montero, who visited a shopping mall in Mandaluyong City, lauded it for having a diaper changing station inside the men’s comfort room.
He even cited that it has a “high chair system to secure baby while daddy does his business”.
Montero added that he plans to feature more malls and areas that have such amenities. He also said he will also not miss those who have not.
