Grammy Award-winning band Maroon 5 made history by becoming the first musical act to stage a concert at the new Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai.
The sold-out show at the said indoor arena left fans stunned with incredible music numbers and performances.
The band’s frontman Adan Levine who sported a black jacket and pink muscle shirt with his hair gelled and slicked back, wowed his fans with his distinctive high-pitched voice and guitar solos.
Throughout the show which lasted for an hour and 45 minutes, fans sang along to the band as they performed their hit songs, including “Payphone”, “This Love”, “Misery”, “Sunday Morning”, “Animals”, “She Will Be Loved”, “Girls Like You” and “Sugar”.
Towards the end of the show, Levine told the crowd that he was able to give an all-out performance because he was not feeling well.
“I feel a strange pain in my stomach, I don’t know if you saw me grabbing my stomach. That’s not a cool new dance move, it’s an intense pain that I’m still kind of feeling. I’m sure I’ll be fine, don’t worry. But, it sucks. I haven’t been bouncing, running, around. I want you to know it’s not because I don’t have any enthusiasm… I’m in a little bit of pain and it’s affecting the way I’m singing too. I’m not able to hit all of those notes. I want to be honest with you guys, I think that’s important,” he said.
Nevertheless, the fans still had an amazing time at their historical concert and some of them even took to social media to express their joy.
Tonight was so incredible. I cried, danced and sang my heart out. This concert and band meant a lot to me and it was worth every dirham. Thank you Maroon 5 ❤️ @ Coca-Cola Arena https://t.co/xFSmgetHI9

The @maroon5 concert was quite epic. But the other thing that stood out last night was how well @cocacolaarena team had everything organized. Didn’t face any issues and the event was very well managed. Kudos to the entire team! ☺️@COCACOLA_ME
