A Filipino complained about how his brother’s baggage was slashed at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 2, claiming some items were lost.
Amado Neri Aguilar III posted in his Facebook account photos and videos of his brother’s baggage.
According to him, his brother just landed in the Philippines from Macau on September 10, 6:35 P.M.
When his brother claimed his luggage at the airport’s carousel, he noticed holes in it. Upon checking, he found out that two pairs of branded shoes and other items were missing.
“Nagtanong kami sa NAIA staff pero kung saan-saan sila tinuro. Nabadtrip na kuya ko dahil pagod na sa byahe at gusto [na niyang] umuwi,” Aguilar said in his Facebook post.
In an interview in TV5 news program Aksyon, Ed Montreal, general manager of Manila International Airport Authority, said they have already coordinated with the airlines.
Montreal also said they will review CCTV cameras inside the airport to know more about the incident.
“Susubukan po natin i-backtrack yung pangyayari…sasabihin sa tauhan natin na titingnan natin,” he said.
