VAIO Corporation is back in the GCC with the launch of its new range of laptops with Nexstgo Company Limited. This license agreement between Hong Kong-based Nexstgo and Japan-based VAIO Corporation includes manufacturing, sales and marketing as well as servicing of VAIO laptops under the VAIO trademark in Hong Kong, Macau, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan markets and now in the Middle Eastern.

 

The laptops will be soon available across the Flagship Showrooms and other leading electronics stores across the UAE.

 

Commenting on the comeback, Mr. Alex Chung, CEO, Nexstgo Company Limited, said, “We are excited to bring VAIO back in the GCC. VAIO has always been a market leader for its stylish and durability range of laptops. With the launch, we aim to expand our distribution network in Middle Eastern region and clock a phenomenal growth by end of 2019. Made in Japan. Powered with Windows 10 PRO / Home, this device is available in Black, Silver, Brown and Pink color with full-size backlit keyboard. It has an Intel® Core™ i5-8265U Processor, Intel® Core™ i7-8565U Processor with 12.5” (even in 11” foot print) full HD display, and has a memory of 8GB / 16GB.  It is built with integrated layers of unidirectional carbon fiber that enhance the protection, while still keeping the laptop thin and light at a mere 899g.  It supports VAIO® TruePerformance, a technology that helps optimize and maximize CPU and overall performance.  It’s fast charging feature allows recharging of the laptop to around 80% in merely an hour.

 

The USB Type-CTM port of SX12 supports charging from your handy power bank or any regular 5V cell phone charger.  It also comes with a variety of connection interfaces including a USB Type-C™ port, 3 USB ports, a HDMI port, a VGA connector and LAN connection.

It has an Intel® Core™ i5-8265U Processor, Intel® Core™ i7-8565U Processor with 14-inch (even in 13” foot print) full HD / 4K ultra HD display and has a memory of 8 / 16GB. It weighs approximately 1.05Kg and features a lightweight UD carbon case.  It supports VAIO® TruePerformance, a technology that helps optimize and maximize CPU and overall performance.  It also comes with a variety of connection interfaces including 4K HDMI, VGA/RGB, LAN, USB Type-CTM, 3 USB Type-A, SD card reader, security lock slot and 3.5mm headset/headphone jack.

Made in Japan. Powered with Windows 10 PRO, this device is available in Black tablet with silver keyboard with Anti-spill Backlit Keyboard. Intel® Core™ i5-8200Y with 12.5” full HD display, and has a memory of 8GB.  VAIO A12 two-in-one device is designed to be a “True Laptop, True Tablet”. Its exclusive “Stabilizer Flap” design improves stability of the device in use.  The tablet part features a 12.5” multi-touch screen with Full HD resolution. When attached to the keyboard base with built-in battery, the total weight is at approximately 1.2kg.   In addition, A12 also goes with an All Black version with Intel® Core™ i7-8200Y.
