Is Motorola RAZR making a comeback with this foldable design?

The flippable Motorola phones of the late 2000s that made users feel like expert spies may be making a comeback and this time, with an out of this world look.

Technology website Techconfigurations envisioned a possible look of the new Motorola phone after Lenovo’s CEO, which now owns Motorola, Yang Yuanqing teased users of a possible Motorola comeback.

The envisioned design of the new phone, named Motorola RAZR V4, has 3 display design – one 6-inch primary foldable display , one 2.5-inch exterior display to use in folded mode, and a 0.75-inch multipurpose display with integrated fingerprint scanner.

Here is the video of the website’s concept design.

Similar to the older generation of Motorola phones, the proposed RAZR V4 has a smaller screen when folded so users can still check notifications even in folded mode.

The new phone is also ultra slim with only 3.75mm when unfolded and 7.5mm when folded.

Earlier, Yuanqing hinted TechRadar that a Motorola comeback is probable.

“With the new technology, particularly foldable screens, I think you will see more and more innovation on our smartphone design,” he told TechRadar.
“So hopefully what you just described [the Motorola Razr brand] will be developed or realized very soon”.
