Olympians Paul and Rachelle Dela Cruz proved that archery bonds them as husband and wife.
The Olympian couple managed to win a gold in the Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) mixed team compound archery event, Monday.
They defeated Vietnam’s Chau Kiew Danh and Nguyen Van Day, 148-147, and added on the country’s gold haul.
“Thank you, they saved the day,” said World Archery Philippines Secretary General Rosendo Sombrio told reporters after the game.
The couple met when they were still training for the national team. They have two children.
