The Union Cooperative in the UAE has ordered an immediate withdrawal of Sadia Market’s alleged contaminated chicken products in all its branches in the country.
Unit Coop said on its Facebook page that Sadia’s products are not good for human consumption.
The country’s largest cooperative society said the move seeks to ensure the safety and health of consumers in the UAE.
Suhail Albastaki, director of happiness and marketing, added consumers who bought chicken products from Sadia may refund their money at the nearest Unit Coop stations.
