Last Sunday, a 29-year-old businesswoman died as she underwent cosmetic surgery in a clinic in Mandaluyong City.
The victim named Shiryl Saturnino was declared dead at around 3:21 a.m following what supposed to undergo breast augmentation, liposuction, and butt surgery.
Initial investigation showed that the victim, along with a relative, Shiela Mae Anabe Deinla, arrived at the Icon Clinic at around 5 p.m. Saturday, Philippine Star reported.
In a statement released on Tuesday afternoon, Icon Clinic said that it was taking all steps necessary to ascertain the reason behind the tragic death of their customers and they are fully cooperating on the ongoing investigation.
Autopsy results of Saturnino’s remains have yet to be released.
