Looking to get a new smartphone? Apple has got you covered with the release of their limited edition red iPhone.
Last week, the Cupertino-based company announced that in accordance with their (PRODUCT) RED program that supports the (RED) organization that supports AIDS research, a popping red iPhone is heading to the market, as reported by various tech news sites.
To be clear, however, the specs of the phone will be the same with the latest iteration in their roster – the iPhone 7. The only difference is that it now has a pop of color to its rear body.
So far, Apple isn’t expected to release a new version of the iPhone until this September which will be the company’s 10th iteration from the famed smartphone family.
Given that, there is such a high expectation for the tech giant to deliver for their momentous iPhone release, there have been rumors, as early as now, as to what these features it might be.
According to some pool of speculations the tipped edgeless display for iPhone 8 will come in OLED panel, better battery quality with wireless charging, waterproof ability, and improved identification system like facial recognition.
Shall these rumors eventually come intro fruition, it might be a wise decision for those who are saving money for a new phone to lay-off from picking up the newly released red iPhone and just wait for iPhone 8.
Unfortunately, however, no official release date for it has yet been disclosed but it is tipped to be rolled out sometime in the third quarter of the year like its predecessors.
