UAE recently launched a new screening facility at the border between Abu Dhabi and Dubai that provides COVID-19 test results within five minutes.
Each COVID-19 test costs only Dh50 at the last exit on along the Sheikh Zayed Road before motorists proceed to the Ghantoot checkpoint.
“Those with negative results will be allowed to enter the emirate, while those with positive results must undergo a nose swab PCR test in the same location, before returning to their residence and avoiding contact with others until their test results are available,” said the announcement from the Abu Dhabi Government Media Office.
