Guide to COVID-19 drive-thru test center in Dubai

The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) recently opened the first drive-thru coronavirus tests center in the emirate at Al Nasr Club.
The testing center can conduct up to 250 tests a day, free of charge.
The facility will be open from 8:00 a.m. until 6:30 p.m.to conduct a five-minute test while the driver or passenger is inside their vehicle.

Who is eligible for the COVID-19 test?
Those eligible for test are elders, pregnant women, and those with chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, rheumatism, kidney disease, and neurological disease

How to book an appointment?
Contact the DHA call center at 800DHA (800342) to book an appointment.
You will receive a confirmation of your appointment via text message. You have to present the confirmation text message to authorities to get your test done.

Can I leave my home to get the test done during the National Sterlisation Programme?
Yes you can. If you are stopped by police, you can show them your confirmation text message you receive. If your car was pictured by a radar, you can send the text as a proof that you have a valid reason to leave your home, at a later time.
The DHA reminds you to follow precautionary guidelines which include wearing face masks and gloves when leaving the house and also make sure that you do not have more than three passengers in one car.

When and how will you receive your test results?
You can view your results by downloading the DHA app and clicking on “Patient Services” then “Lab Results”. The results take maximum of 48 hours to be released.

What should I do if I test positive?
Don’t panic isolate yourself at home and avoid interacting with others. The DHA team will contact you to do the necessary procedures. If you were not contacted within 24 hours after receiving your positive result, you may call the DHA hotline 800DHA (800342).
