Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII) on Friday donated Php100 million worth of medical supplies and testing kits to Department of Health (DOH) to curb the spread of coronavirus disease or COVID-19.
The announcement came following the declaration of World Health Organization of COVID-19 as pandemic, ABS-CBN News reported.

“Through this, we hope to help our hardworking and noble health authorities and health personnel ensure that our people in the Philippines will get access to fast screening and good health care,” Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry Inc (FFCCCII) president Dr. Henry Lim Bon Liong stated during a press conference in Quezon City.
The group added that they are coordinating with Chinese Embassy to send more emergency supplies as well as medical experts in handling coronavirus to assist Filipino doctors and medical personnel.

Liong added that they are awaiting for the approval of DOH to invite doctors from China.
