Television network ABS-CBN has expressed their gratitude over the outpouring of support over their franchise renewal bid.
“Nagbibigay po sa amin ng inspirasyon at tibay ng loob ang mga pahayag ng suporta mula sa mga opisyal ng gobyerno, kapwa taga-media mula sa Pilipinas at ibang bansa, iba’t ibang organisasyon ng industriya, akademya, simbahan, artista, mga Kapamilya, Kapuso, Kapatid, kaibigan, fans, at mga manonood,” the statement said.

The statement acknowledges how people are now recognizing their public service towards millions of people in different parts of the world.
“Lalo naming pagsisikapang makapaghatid ng balita, kasiyahan, at serbisyo-publiko sa sambayanan,” the statement added.

The network insisted that their integrity is intact, and that they did not violate any laws.
“Dinarasal po namin na magkakaroon na ng pagkakaunawaan ang lahat tungkol sa usaping ito,” the statement added.
