President Rodrigo Duterte paid his last respects to the late priest Fr. Fernando Suarez in a visit at his wake on Friday.
He went to the wake at The Heritage Park in Taguig City and condoled with the priest’s family, says a report by GMA News.
The 52-year-old Suarez succumbed to a heart attack last Tuesday while he was playing tennis at the Ayala Alabang Clubhouse in Muntinlupa City.

In a press release, the Palace extended his condolences to the bereaved family saying he believes in the priest’s healing ministry.
President Duterte, according to the same statement, said he personally witnessed Fr. Suarez’s healing prowess once in Davao City.
His remains will still be brought in Batangas, his hometown later Friday. On the following day will be his interment.
