Basketball legend Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna or Gigi were two of nine people killed in the helicopter crash on Monday (Manila time), Reuters reported.
The other passengers who died in the chopper crash in Calabasas, California were Gigi’s teammate, Alyssa Altobelli who was with her mother Keri and father John.
John was a coach of Orange Coast College.
The other passengers were assistant coach Christina Mauser, and Sarah and Payton Chester.

The pilot, identified as Ara Zobayan, was also killed in the accident.
Emergency responders have a difficult time reaching the crash site, so the recovery of the remains of the victims and the investigation into the incident will take time.
Residents of Calabasas said it was foggy in the area at the time of the incident.
