A Black Nazarene devotee made his Traslacion experience extraspecial by proposing to his longtime girlfriend.
Twenty-three-year-old Kim Noel Yamat, a longtime devotee, knelt down during the procession, not to pray but to ask his girlfriend if she wants to be with him forever.
Yamat said he decided to ask his girlfriend the magic question because they are both Nazarene devotees.
Some of the devotees also shared their happiness on the proposal as Yamat’s girlfriend gave her “matamis na ‘oo'” and sealed it with a kiss.
Their wedding is set to take place in March.
