The General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) continues to call on the country’s air operators to assess flightpaths to ensure the continuous smooth flow of aviation operations in the UAE.
As the country’s designated governing body to regulate Civil Aviation, the GCAA in cooperation with concerned agencies and countrywide air operators, monitors and evaluates regional developments and are ready to take action as required in the interest of public safety and security, as reported by Emirates News Agency (WAM).
Regional developments will not affect citizens, residents and visitors
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation stressed earlier that it is closely monitoring the recent regional developments and emphasized the importance of de-escalating current tensions through dialogue and political solutions in the current situation.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, it also confirmed that with the recent developments, UAE citizens, residents, and visitors will not be affected.
The Ministry said that all sectors across the country continue to operate as normal.
