NCM advises the public today, March 18, to be prepared for occasional rainfall as well as for the drivers on the road to be wary of obscured visibility as well as a significant drop in temperatures as the day progresses.
The weather bureau of the UAE also advised sea farers that the Oman Sea and the Arabia Sea will experience rough to very rough waves and sea movement within the day.
Temperatures begin to rise
From a low 2 degress at Jais Mountain a few days back, the lowest temperature was recorded at the same area but has since increased a bit – at 7 degrees.

Along the lower lands and cities, coldest temperature is expected to be around 14 degrees while the warmest will be around 28 degrees.
The heavy rain combined with thunderstorms in the UAE resulted in flooding at several areas of the country.
