Police at Ras Al Khaimah has released a report that they nabbed a 23-year-old Emirati driver for multiple traffic violations amounting to Dh 1,158,000.
RAK Police announced that the amount of the traffic fine is the biggest ever in record with more than 1,251 traffic violations after he was nabbed in a surprise inspection raid as per a report from Khaleej Times.
Maamura Police Chief Col Waleed Mohammed Juma said the young driver was booked 1,200 for spending, and that the car was due for impoundment for 51 times as well.
“The erring driver is also implicated in so many other traffic violations,” said Col Juma as he added that the driver also had an expired driving license.
