An Emirati couple has been gifted a baby boy who was born on the 47th UAE National Day at the Burjeel Royal Hospital in Al Ain, at exactly 12 midnight of December 2.
The couple named their newborn Khalifa, reported Khaleej Times.
In a statement, the father named Mohammed Abdullah Al Hurr said: “We believe that UAE National Day 2018 will be a lucky day for us, and it has certainly started on the best note possible.”
Likewise, officials and staff of the hospital happily welcomed the birth of baby Khalifa in their facility. They said that his birth is extra special since it coincides with the occasion of the national founding day of the UAE.
“Having a baby at any time is a joyous occasion, but to have the first delivery on UAE National Day 2018 is something extra special, and we are proud that it happened here at Burjeel Royal Hospital Al Ain,” Dr. Arun Menon, Director of Operations, VPS AL Ain region, said.
