The temperature in some areas of the UAE dropped to as low as 11 degrees Celsius on Wednesday, October 31, as the winter season nears the country.
According to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), the coldest weather in the UAE today was reported in the Jais Mountain area at 11.7 degrees.
Other areas that reported cold temperatures ranging from 13 to 17 degrees include Mebreh Mountain (13.6 degrees), Damtha (16.4 degrees), Jabal Hafeet (16.5 degrees), and Al Wathbah (17.1 degrees).

The weather today is fair to partly cloudy, with convective clouds forming over the sea. Rainfall is expected on the eastern mountains and northern parts of the country.
While residents can now experience slight changes in the weather, they will have to wait for December until the official winter season begins.
