A flight attendant just received a romantic marriage proposal which she will forever remember, but probably not for the good reason as it caused her to get fired from the airlines she works for.
An unidentified flight attendant from China Eastern Airlines did not expect that she will be losing her job after her boyfriend got down on one knee and popped the question in the middle of a flight.
The video circulated on different social media platforms and it immediately went viral May this year.
As seen in the video, the shocked flight attendant accepted her boyfriend’s marriage proposal and then used the in-flight announcement system to thank the passengers for applauding and filming the proposal.
However, four months after the video went viral Liaoning STV via Singapore’s Channel 8 reported that China Eastern Airlines fired the flight attendant after the incident.
While many netizens thought the proposal was romantic, the airlines said that it has caused disturbance which could have led to risking the safety of the passengers on-board.
Many netizens said that the airline’s decision was unfair as the marriage proposal did not intend to harm anyone in the first place.
However, there are still some who sided with China Eastern Airlines saying that the proposal could have been done in a different yet equally special way.
