Two Filipino-Americans in Texas, United States have performed a prank so well that the establishment they have kidded has not noticed their stunt for days.
Jevh Maravilla and Christian Toledo made themselves models for a poster in a McDonald’s restaurant in Houston and netizens are lovin’ it.
The two have uploaded a full documentation of how they pulled the prank. Maravilla even dressed up as a store crew and schemed with his friends to install the poster.
“I look up and I see a blank wall and I tell Christian. Hey what if we put a picture of us on there? Look around, there are literally no Asians in any of these walls. Maybe we can change that,” said Maravilla in the video.
In a Twitter post, the two visited the fast-food chain to see if the poster had been taken down but were surprised to see the poster still on the wall 51 days after they put it there.
i noticed there was a blank wall at mcdonald’s so i decided to make this fake poster of me and my friend. It’s now been 51 days since i hung it up. pic.twitter.com/5OTf5aR4vm

Maravilla admitted in his YouTube channel that the lack of Asian representation encouraged him to do the prank.
“If you haven’t noticed, there isn’t a lot Asians represented in the media and hopefully one day, I can see someone like me on the big screen,” he said. Maravilla added that “All races deserve recognition.”
