An Asian man was arrested after insulting a police and touching himself in public at Dubai International Airport.
The Pakistani man was instructed to leave a large pack of batteries before boarding the plane as they were not allowed on flight, reported The National.
In response, he began throwing insults at the Emirati police officer and insisted to not follow the rules employed at the airport.
“It was within seconds that a crowd surrounded us as he insulted me, my mother and my sister,” the police was quoted as saying in the report.
Airport authorities then arrested the Pakistani after he proceeded to touching himself in public following the insults.
In court, the Pakistani denied the allegations.
The court, however, decided to charge him with insulting an officer and doing an indecent act in public punishable by three months in prison.
He will be deported after serving his sentence.
