UAE announces work hours for private sector during Ramadan

The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources announced on Tuesday, May 15, work schedules for the private sector during the holy month of Ramadan.

According to FAHR, work hours for the private sector will be reduced by two hours from normal company hours.

Meanwhile, work for federal government and ministry employees in the public sector will begin at 9 in the morning and end at 2 in the afternoon.

Ramadan is expected to begin on May 17 but the official announcement regarding the official start of the Holy Month is expected to happen tonight, May 15.
