Authorities have arrested three Arab youngsters who have allegedly abducted a married Asian woman before taking turns in raping her.
The Al Ain Criminal Court of First Instance said police arrested the suspects, aged between 17 to 25, after investigations confirmed that they had gangraped the 30-year-old victim, Khaleej Times reported.
Court reports showed that the trio first abducted the woman, who works at a shopping mall, past midnight.
The victim said one of the men grabbed her and forced her to go inside a vehicle. The suspects then drove to a desert area where they raped her.
After the assault, the trio drove back to the spot where they picked up the victim and left her there.
The woman then confided to her husband about the incident, and proceeded to file a complaint at the police station.
CCTV footage revealed the type of vehicle the defendants used to abduct the Asian woman. Police then searched for the car and spotted it in an area in Al Ain.
Prosecutors charged the men with abduction, unlawful detention and rape.
