Filipino expats in the UAE enjoy a big windfall as the Philippine peso plunged to Php14.1064 per dirham today Oct. 25.
It’s the highest value so far this year with UAE dirham pegged to soar even higher in the coming days.
According to aed.fxexchangerate.com currency conversion chart, this week is the best time for Filipinos to send their remittances back home.
On Tuesday, Oct. 24, the currency exchange rate had reached Php1408.96 per UAE dirham.
A higher dollar, which translates to a higher UAE dirham as well, means expatriates get to send home more pesos with their hard-earned money in the UAE.
