BOC ‘tara’ trail leads to Davao

    Mark Ruben Taguba II, a “fixer” who helped smuggle P6.4 billion worth of illegal drugs from China, disclosed that he gave a P5-million “enrollment fee” to a councilor, who is allegedly connected to Davao City Mayor Paolo Duterte. Taguba said Davao City councilor is part of the “Davao Group” that received an enrollment to guarantee that their shipments would not be inspected. Paolo, son of President Rodrigo Duterte, has been linked in the controversy, but is yet to give a statement.

No pardon for Kian’s killers – Duterte   

President Rodrigo Duterte assured justice for the gunmen of Kian Lloyd Delos Santos, a 17-year-old student killed in a drug bust operation in Caloocan. Duterte said policemen who are involved in Kian’s death will not be pardoned. Duterte added abusive cops should not be tolerated and are worse than drugs.

It’s Kian in video, cops admit; NPD chief axed

Philippine National Police chief Director General Ronald dela Rosa directed the administrative relief of the director of Northern Police district, who was under fire for claiming that Kian Delos Santos was a drug courier, to administer impartial investigation. NPD Chief Supt. Roberto Fajardo previously claimed that Delos Santos used to sell 10 grams worth of shabu a day before he was killed by police operatives. PNP Internal Affairs Services added two of the three policemen linked to the killing of the 17-year-old student have admitted they were the persons seen on a video recording.

Duterte vows to jail police in Kian’s slay

President Rodrigo Duterte vowed to conduct an investigation on the killing of Kian Delos Santos, who died in a drug bust operation in Caloocan. Duterte said he saw the video footage and he agrees that there should be investigation. He said the policemen linked to the Delos Santos’ death will undergo prosecution and will not be pardoned if proven guilty.
