Traffic enforcer send his kids to private schools by selling kakanin

Most parents want the best possible future for their children.

Case in point is traffic enforcer Fernando Gonzales, who sends his children to private schools in Manila, even if it meant extra work for him – selling kakanin (rice cake) at the sidelines of his job in MMDA.

“Maigapang ko lang po sila ng pagaaral at makatapos lang po sila, okay na ako. Iyon lang po talaga ang pangarap ko,” shared Gonzales in a media interview.

The dedicated father said he earns P14,000 a month, which, he added, is just enough to support the studies of his kids.

To be able to make ends meet, Gonzales and his wife decided to make rice cakes to sell while he’s off-duty. This brings in additional P2,000 income per week.

His eldest is currently in his third year as a college student of the World Citi College, studying aircraft maintenance technology. His other child is a high school student at the University of the East.

Gonzales’ unconditional love for family earned praises from netizens, as his photo selling rice cakes went viral on the Internet last week -KCO
