Hair re-bond gone wrong? Woman complains about problematic hair treatment

Eva Diaz never thought that going through a hair re-bonding procedure in order to get silky and straight hair would eventually turn out to be one of the worst experiences of her life. In a report by GMA News, the woman said that the hair treatment made it worse for her as she now finds it difficult to comb or style it.

Diaz said that her hair was re-bonded last July by Ronino Vinas through home service. Diaz said that she paid for Php1,800 for the procedure. Her hair looked nice at first, but the problem surfaced a few days after the treatment,

“Noong nagpa-rebond po ako okay siya pero noong binanlawan ko na, naging ganito na po buhok ko ang hirap suklayan. ‘Di ko talaga magalaw,” Diaz said.

She immediately contacted the hairdresser to ask what happened to her hair, but he never got back to her after several messages.

“Kinuwento ko kaagad sa kaniya at pinakita ko sa kaniya sa Messenger kung anong nangyari sa buhok ko tapos sabi niya ‘sige babalikan kita.’ Pero ang dami-dami na pong reason na sinasabi niya po ba niya sa akin na hanggang ngayon hindi po niya ako binabalikan,” she added.

Diaz said that it took two months before Vinas fixed her hair. The hairdresser said that Diaz’s hair was not damaged by his procedure.

“Hindi siya nasira. May damage lang pero hindi siya nasira kasi nga damaged na nga talaga siya,” he said.

Diaz said that she is happy now that her hair is already fixed after the traumatic incident.

“Kahit papaano nakahinga na po ako nang maluwag kasi ang hirap-hirap po talaga ng buhok ko,” she said.
