The UAE authorities have asked firms to pay wages in time to employees to avoid penal action.
The Ministerial Resolution No. 43 of 2022 issued by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has noted there are 5 basic steps the private sector establishments need to take to avoid action.

An establishment must pay the laborer’s salary, not after the 15th of the following month and for nonpayment, it will be banned on the 17th of the following month.
A laborer will be considered a recipient of the financial dues for receiving 80% or more of them as specified in the labor contract and the establishment would be banned for failure to pay dues for a period of 3 continuous months.
