Abu Dhabi authorities have announced a 25-35 percent discount on early payment of traffic fines.
The authorities urged Abu Dhabi motorists to pay traffic fines in interest-free installments and benefit from discounts.

There is a 35 percent discount for traffic fine payments within two months of offense and 25 percent in a year.
The Abu Dhabi Police said in a statement on social media that they are collaborating with five banks in the UAE including the Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB), Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), Mashreq Al Islami, and Emirates Islamic Bank to extend discounts.

Credit cards issued by one of these banks will enable the benefit and a motorist has to contact the bank within two weeks of the fine.
The fines can be paid through Abu Dhabi Police service centers and on website and the smartphone application. A one-year installment will not be charged any interest.
