Another quarantine violator has been caught by government officials following the incident involving Gwyneth Chua.
Chua was under fire after skipping her hotel quarantine due to ‘connections’. She even managed to attend a party in Poblacion, Makati and later on tested positive for the virus.
DILG said that another quarantine violator had availed of a massage service online and claimed that she was exempted from existing protocols.
DILG Chief Eduardo Ano said the woman arrived on December 23.
“Instead na mag-check in siya doon, nagpahatid lang siya sa hotel, pero meron na palang nag-aabang na sasakyan doon at dumirecho siya sa kanyang condo dito sa BGC,” Ano told ABS-CBN News.
“All throughout, hindi na talaga siya nagpakita sa kanyang quarantine hotel.”
The DILG chief added that the woman claimed to have connections at the Bureau of Quarantine.
